Cancellation Policy
Deposits & Service Fees: Once an appointment has been scheduled, the deposit/service fee is non-refundable, regardless of whether the appointment is later canceled, rescheduled, or missed by the customer, except where a refund is required by applicable law or expressly approved in writing by T & T Notary. The deposit/service fee covers scheduling, preparation time, and attempted performance of the requested service. Cancellations & Rescheduling: If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible. Any rescheduling arrangements are subject to availability. The appointment will be automatically canceled 15 minutes after the scheduled appointment time if no communication has been received. Once canceled, the appointment must be rescheduled, and an additional deposit or service fee will be required. If you anticipate being late or experience a delay, please contact us before the 15-minute waiting period expires. Communication does not automatically guarantee that the appointment can be extended or accommodated. Refunds & Credits for Incomplete Services: Once an appointment has been completed, payments are nonrefundable. Prepaid services that were not completed during the scheduled appointment will receive a credit for the amount paid for the uncompleted service. The credit will be applied toward future services. Credits are limited to the value of the paid service that was not completed and do not include services successfully completed, travel fees, administrative fees, or other charges for services already provided. No credit will be issued for services that could not be completed due to circumstances outside of our control, including, but not limited to, no-shows, lack of proper identification, missing or incomplete documents, unavailable or unprepared signers or witnesses, incorrect information provided by the customer, or other conditions preventing completion of the requested service. Monetary refunds only apply to timely cancellations (up to 1 hour before the appointment) or at the fault of T & T Notary, and does not include the deposit/service fee. Additional Charges and Outstanding Balances: Additional charges that were not collected at the time of scheduling, including applicable additional service fees, travel charges, waiting time, extra services, or other disclosed fees incurred in connection with the appointment, will be due and payable during the scheduled appointment.
